The 2008 All Class reunion is scheduled for October 17 - 19. A chili supper is planned for Friday night in the High School Caferteria starting at 5:30 PM followed by the Rusk Eagle football game. A moring coffee clutch, annual meeting of the Rusk High School Alumni Association, and a Memorial Service for deceased RHS Students and Teachers is planned for Saturday.

The Class of 1958 is having their 50th class reunion during the Memorial Day Weekend. A BBQ at the Texas State Railroad Dining Facility is planned for Saturday May 24th from 3 til 10 PM.

A " Senior Trip" to Shreveport is planned for for 25 - 27 May. We will be staying at Diamond Jacks Hotel for 2 nights and on Monday Night the 26th of May, exactly 50 years to the hour of our graduation, we will enjoy a buffet dinner together. The Class of 1969 is having their 35th class reunion during the All Class Reunion weekend. We will attend the football game on Friday night, Octoober 8th. After the game, we are meeting at the Good Times Wood Products office at 107 W. 2nd Street. We will meet there again on Saturday night October 9th at 7:00 p.m. We want to invite other classes to stop by and visit on either or both nights.

Hi Classmates, RHS Class Of 1955

October is near. There is a week-end scheduled for all classes of Rusk High School to have a homecoming and fun. Folks from all over come back home to visit. Saturday night, Oct 9th, is the date for our class reunion dinner at Sadler's Kitchen, in Jacksonville. The cost will be $20.00 per person. We will have a buffet with a chicken and beef entree.

To kick that week-end's activities off, there will be a Chili Supper, sponsored by the Rusk High School Alumni Association Friday night, Oct 8 in the high school cafeteria, before the Friday night football game. On Saturday morning, there will be a Coffee at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, also sponsored by the RHSAA. Many other activites are planned for Saturday, so please come, you'll have a great time. More information will be forthcoming on the Saturday activities.

If you are not a member of the RHSAA, please consider joining. It is designed to help our Alma Mater's graduates further their education. It is fun to get together at the association's meetings to plan and work on ideas. May I, again, please encourage you to become a "Life Time Member". You'll be glad you did. 8 - 10 OCTOBER, 2004

ALL Classes of Rusk High School are getting together in Rusk for a reunion. In addition, the RHSAA will conduct a general membership meeting and elections for new board members.

A great time to see old friends and catch up on the fun times we had at Rusk High School.

Please try to attend!!!!! Festivities will kick off with a chili supper in the High School Cafeteria on Oct 8 prior to the football game. Classes will be recognized by decade during halftime. On Saturday morning, coffee and pastries will be served in the Fellowship Hall of the First Methodist Church in Rusk, followed by a business meeting of the RHSAA, with elections of new board members. A memorial service for RHS students and teachers will then be held in the rectory of the church. The Annual Arts and Crafts fair will also take place in Rusk that weekend, and many classes will have individual reunion dinners and parties, so there will be many activities in which to participate.

The RHSAA will award 5 scholarships to deserving RHS graduates this year. The awards will include 2 annual endowed awards honoring Paul and Alton Hubbard presented by Donald and Bebe Hubbard, and Tom Sartain, presented by the Tom Sartain Family. These scholarships will be $1000 each. Another $1000 scholarship will be awarded by the RHSAA fund. Two special awards will be given in the sum of $500 each in the memory of Francis Towsend.

The awards banquet will be held at the Rusk Jr. High School at 6:30 PM,on May 15, 2003.

Rusk High School Alumni Association

The RHS All Class Reunion and RHSAA Biennial Meeting will be held 11-13 October, 2002 in conjunction with the annual Rusk Arts and Crafts Fair. We are planning many special events to include our first biennial Rusk High School Alumni Association meeting with election of a Board Of Directors.

The RHS classes of 58 and 59 are planning a BBQ on Saturday afternoon/evening of October 12, 2002 in conjunction with the RHS All Class Reunion. It will be at Ike and Arlene Frazers. We will start cooking at 3:00 PM and plan to eat at around 6:00 PM and stay and socialize until everyone departs. Bring your favorite side dish or a desert.

Just wanted ya'll to know that the RHS Class of 1967 will be having a reunion on June 22nd at the Cherokee County Coop building on Highway 69 N. We'll meet around 3PM and stay until everyone leaves!!!! We'd love it if folks from some other classes dropped by for a visit. I'm expecting that we'll have about 30-35 of or classmates there.

The RHS Class of '59 will be having a class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002 at the home of Curtis and Patricia Merchant. Everyone is invited to come out to our home in Maydelle that afternoon for visiting and we'll have a dinner around 6:30 PM. That is the same week-end of RHS Homecoming game on Friday night, Sept. 27.
